A:AnswerMy Osmo Action Camera battery lasts about 30 mins. The unfortunate thing is the Osmo batteries are hard to find compared to GoPro batteries. So be sure to purchase several batteries for back up. You can however, use of the one battery if you remove the battery door and power the camera externally with a power bank.
A:AnswerYou can transfer video files to your PC by using the c-type cord that comes with the Osmo Action camera. Plug one side into the camera and the other into the computer. Turn on the computer and the Osmo screen will ask you to accept it to be connected to the camera. Touch yes on the screen and the folders will appear on your PC. I don't believe you can transfer directly via wifi from the camera to the computer. The Osmo Action camera comes with an app that you can download to your phone so you can save videos and photos to your phone also. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerYes, you can use the cam out of the box. However, for best results, downloading the DJI Memo app will automatically download the newest firmware upgrade. The original firmware out of the box had some issues, but DJI is constantly correcting through upgraded firmware. This is one of the reasons went with DJI over GoPro.
A:AnswerHello Emi, Osmo action camera is not advertised to be used as a webcam but it's not impossible to do so. I found it on DJI forum page that you can use it by downloading a third party software by paying a an amount for it. Technically yes you can but the process costs time and money for it.
https://forum.dji.com/thread-216265-1-1.html you can watch this video to get the idea how to use it as a webcam.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerNot at all. I haven’t had mine very long and haven’t done much editing. But what I have done I haven’t noticed any distortion. I’m really liking mine so far.
A:AnswerPeople realized these are probably the best action camera made. Fortunately there is a new version of this camera, not the model that followed this one (That was junk).
