• Yes, headless mode can be enabled and disabled with the flip of a switch.

• Actually, when you fly it in GPS mode the camera is always pointing forward. You have to deliberately set the drone up to fly it in what can be compared too headless mode.

• Hello Alex. On the Phantom 3 Standard the closest equivalent to headless mode is 'Course Lock'. Course Lock is off by default. (Activating Course Lock is achieved by entering the Intelligent Flight Modes within the DJI Go app). Further information on Course Lock and other Intelligent Flight Modes is available on page 52 of the user manual.
