The short answer is NO! The Installation charge includes removal of existing oven, delivery and unpacking of new oven, and installation of new oven. They will also do some initial setup and testing of the new oven. For an additional charge they will modify the existing cabinet. My cabinet opening needed to be widened by 1/2 inch -- $65; it also required a new shelf to hold the new oven $100 -- reasonable charges. Currently, GE, Frigidaire, and KitchenAid all have Cabinet Modification allowances which would cover up to $300 for modifications. We purchased a KitchenAid Oven Microwave combo which was more expensive than the double ovens they cover. They denied our claim! I think that was wrong. Be certain to check that the model you buy is on their list of products that qualify for the reimbursement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. My 220v electrical box was below where the oven was to be installed. To get the power lines to and from the box, I had to “hog out” a big chunk from behind the oven for wire clearance. The installer was patient, fortunately. I don’t think you can predict every possible problem you may face, so patience from the installer is important.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will but Best Buy delivery is so horrible that it hasn't even been delivered...two months late!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No way, they basically deliver the oven, take your old oven out and put the new oven in the spot. If anything doesn't fit properly, they won't complete the job. The service is way too expensive for what the installers are capable/willing to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. There is an existing flat oak plate at the bottom to close off the oven opening that can be removed and reset up or down up or down to suit. The existing oven is Kenwood (now made by GE and is acceptable to Mrs. Newton as a replacement, but we also wish to consider other up to date models. The upper oven in the current double oven has stopped working causing the need for replacement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.mine did not. i was replacing an existing double oven and the sizes are fairly standard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They did minor adjustment. Was fully disclosed upfront that they would estimate if something more was required. I have used for multiple installs, highly recommend as they are fair and honest about what they can and cannot do and what they will charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had to move the plug in the back higher so the wall oven can fit in all the way. Also had to get 2 inches of the wood on the cabinet cut so wall oven would fit in as well. This oven was a big bigger than our old one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The cabinet space must be pre-pared.
