Q: Questionis there an power inverter/power transformer that you can plug to 220 volt supply and the output is 110v and vice versa? what is the minimum wattage? is this available at best buy

Q: QuestionWill it be safe to run an 85 Watt heat pad, a 60 Watt heat pad & a phone USB (for GPS purposes) simultaneously for 4-8 hours? I've read reviews of power inverters killing the cars battery, is that possible with this Duracell?

• A:Answer It is actually possible to kill your battery with any power inverter. These are definitely designed to be on when the vehicle is running, otherwise you can kill a battery very quickly. If you're pulling over 150 Watts total constantly, it will be too much for any power inverter you plug into a cigarette lighter. If you are going to be using it for more than 150w, it should be hard wired directly to your car battery like an audio amplifier. It's powerful, but it's not going to replace a home wall outlet.

Q: QuestionI am researching a power invertor for my daughter's car. A message 'This does not fit your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee' comes up for this one, also a Duracell 175 watt invertor. Haven't seen this for any others. Wondering why? Thanks

• A:Answer If your vehicle supplies power to the 12V socket without the engine running, you can charge the laptop but we don't recommend it, as this could result in the vehicle's starter battery dropping below the voltage needed to start the engine.

• A:Answer Yes you can. I would actually suggest hardwire to your battery with some 10 or 12 awg wire with an inline fuse for continuous use.
