Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine will sometime not shred on the first use. I have to slide the paper in again making sure that I Have it right in the center. BUT this does sound like your paper indicator is not working properly. The machine might be getting the right amount of power but there may be a short in the Paper indicator if the red light on the top indicating a jamb does not come on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe you can try lubing your wheels. You can buy oil sheets to lube your shredder this way all the paper is taken out and your machine is working at peak performance.

I show it does come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Because we are a Best Buy Exclusive Brand, you can take the unit into your local Best Buy to the Geek Squad desk along with a copy of the receipt. If you are unable to locate the receipt the store personnel may be able to look the purchase information up in their system.
