Yes add pigtails which is just a short piece of wire. Splice one end to the outlet and the other to the other wires of same color. Use either wire nuts or push in connectors like wagos
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do NOT attach two wires to one terminal screw. Pigtail the two with a single wire and attach that to the terminal screw. Do a search on the web on how to do if you're not familiar with this. Or hire an electrician.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same wiring. Just make sure it's wide open. Hold outlet sideways when inserting wires. This helps the plate that holds them level and open. Then begin tightening screw. It worked for me and my outlet works fine. Good luck.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If oth wire were the same gauge that should not be in issue unless the wires are sitting unevenly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Connect the two wires to each other first, then attach the result to the outlet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had to place the outlet side down on the side I was installing the wires into. Also had to make sure the the screw was plenty loose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Truthfully, it's best to use a terminal fork that fits the wires when twisted or paired together. You will need a terminal crimper and a terminal fork with at least a 14g or 10g opening for the wires. Crimp both wires into the fork and insert fork under screw for fastening. Nothing will be loose or able to loosen if crimped tightly and screwed in snugly. Good luck!
