A:Answer The way I understand your issue is that you want to link a Micro HDMI (female) socket to a full size HDMI (female) socket. The adapter you have inquired about looks like an inexpensive method to accomplish this. Simply plug the adapter's Micro-HDMI (male) connector plug into your Chromebook port. Then plug one end of a "regular full sized HDMI plug to regular full sized HDMI plug CABLE" into the adapter's full sizes HDMI (female) socket. Then, you should have a full sized HDMI cable (just like the one used to connect a TV to a set top box) connected to your adapter, with one unused full sizes HDMI plug at the other end of the cable. Plug the unused HDMI male plug, into your monitor. If you do NOT own a regular full sized HDMI cable (which has two full sized male plug connectors on each end), you will need to go buy ONE. They are about $10 each, or $20 for two. This will complete your circuit, and you will have everything you wanted. Mine works everyday! Good luck...
