• I actually had to use BestBuy's CD cases in that manner until I was able to restock, and they worked fine toward that end. The post fit two CDs; the cases closed easily with the two CDs inside; and neither was damaged. Also, I was using the Dynex Color Slim CD/DVD cases. You do need to be careful upon opening so that the top CD doesn't fall and hit the floor. I hope this helps.
