“How does the Dyson Airwrap Small Round Volumizing Brush attach to my Dyson hairdryer ? I have a model number 5005306. I don't see any way to remove the top of my hairdryer to attach the Volumizing Brush to it. Is there a button I press? Do I twist it?”

Hi Gracie, this is Kelly with Dyson. Airwrap tools are not compatible with the Supersonic hair dryer and vice versa. The tools have different attachment mechanisms. The Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryer uses magnetic attachments, while the Airwrap™ barrels use a lock in mechanism. It's also worth noting, Dyson Supersonic™ is for those who want fast drying and smooth, controlled styling with techniques and additional tools such as a brush, While the Dyson Airwrap™ styler is for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves or a smooth finish. How do i dis-assemble my hairdryer so that I can put the attachment on to it? I know how to put the attachment on. But how do i pull my hairdryer APART so that it can accept the attachment? I see no way to do this. thank you.
