Although almost every company on the planet makes travel personal care devices dual voltage, Dyson does not. The Dyson Airwrap™ will absolutely not function with a voltage converter. The US version will simply not work in Europe. I've no idea why they will not make it dual voltage, but it certainly is not because it must be certified in every country.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a very bad customer experience! For the price that Dyson is charging for an airwrap, the least you could do is allow international usage. I travel a lot for business and Dyson is absolutely no use even after paying so much money! Very disappointed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson products are designed specifically for the countries in which they are made for and sold in. For example, machines manufactured for the United States are designed solely for 110-120v electricity. It is because of this fact that we are unable to have the machine converted to meet the specific country electrical code and laws. In order to use the machine in a different country a power converter would be needed. However, we do not recommend using a converter, as the unit will not perform at the normal expected life of a Dyson product. Please be aware that use of your machine outside of the country which it was purchased may void your warranty. This is outlined under the Terms and Conditions of the warranty under the What is Not Covered section in the operating manual. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
