The difference will be either in the filter that comes with it, the suction power, or brush head. Look at some comparison videos on YouTube, one guy went over the origin, multi floor, and animal, and explains a great deal how each one differs. With Dyson, I promise the more expensive models do in fact work significantly better. The animal and total clean I think are the top end and I think the total is probably at the top and is for good reasons. Just gotta do your research. The multi floor is probably the best all around if you don’t wanna go for something that costs over 400, most multi floors can be found for 300-360.

The Total Clean model included a combination and stair tool. The model sold at Sam's Club also comes with a stiff bristle brush and a carbon fiber soft dusting brush as bonus items included with this retailer. The Ball Animal will include our tangle-free turbine tool, which is designed to pick up pet hair from furniture, stairs or other upholstered surfaces. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
