Hi there, its Tameka with Dyson. I am very sorry to hear that your Dyson has an odor. Along, with washing the filters, we recommend cleaning the cyclone with a can of compressed air and checking the unit for an obstruction. The pre filter is inside the cyclone. The post filter is also the HEPA filter and is located in the ball near the motor of the unit. Both filters are washable and can be reused for the life of the machine. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please feel free to email us directly at [email protected]. We are happy to help! Best wishes, Tameka Dyson Customer Service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use cinnamon to mask some of the odors - I clean mine with baking soda and water also.
