• Hello Tatalee, this is Kelly with Dyson. The diameter of the hose on the Ball Animal is approximately 1.5". We would recommend a tool such as the flexi-crevice tool for vacuuming out a dryer vent. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
