Yes! It works phenomenal for pet hair. I have a very fuzzy dog and each time I empty the canister after I vacuum, there is so much dog hair in it. I always say, I can make a mini dog out of it! Lol. The one attachment piece that comes with to put on the hose, works awesome for vacuuming the dog hair off of our furniture too.

The Animal models generally will include a pet-hair removal tool, such as a tangle-free turbine tool.
