There is not much different. Animal pro comes with little different in brush on main road. And road is also golden instead of regular iron road. On power comparison both have same motor.

The V10 Animal has our high powered torque drive cleaner head, that has a suction control slider built-in to the front of the head. As it's an Animal model, it also includes the mini motorhead which is great at picking up pet hair from furniture, stairs and other hard-to-reach areas. The Animal Pro will come with those, plus the addition of the soft roller head. This floor tool was engineered for bare and hard floors where you would not want to use a spinning brush bar.
