Ft. Air Purifier - White/Silver Model:310150-01 SKU:6192410 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dyson-dp04-pure-cool-800-sq-ft-air-purifier-white-silver/6192410.p?skuId=6192410, IN THE "SPECIFICATIONS LIST" ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE that it does ionize the air. And any ionized air is going to turn into ozone by scientific definition. Filter Indicator Light(s) Yes Ionizing Yes UPC 885609014753

If that's the case. Why does best buy have on their website in the specifications that they got from you, that it says it does ionize the air? See at the bottom of the specs. According to scientists, If it ionizes the air by any means, it will create ozone as a by product. Correct?

Hi Mitch, this is Kelly with Dyson. Dyson DP04 Pure Cool does not release or emit any ozone into the air. Some air purifiers will feature an ionizer, which releases charged chemicals into the air, that bond with particulates and assist in removing those particles. However, this generates Ozone in the home. Dyson Purifiers do not use Ionization to purify the air and do not generate ozone. Best Wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
