- Answer Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the Dyson purifier. How often the filter needs to be changed depends on how often it was used. If used for 24 hours each day, the filter will need to be changed about once every 6 months. If used for 12 hours or less per day, the filter will need to be changed about once every year. QuestionHello - I was hoping Kelly at Dyson could confirm this filter would fit my Dyson. Here is the number underneath the base: SN6-US-MGA0837A. I am not sure the model fan I have.

- Answer Hi Eva, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for your machine's serial number; it looks like you have an AM11. The sku for the filter that you need is 968126-03. This one show is for the smaller desk models, you need the filter to fit the tower fan. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Service

- Answer If you register your device with Dyson for the warranty, it will let you know what model you have. I have the Dyson HP02 and it fits perfect and works great.

- Answer Usually if you look under your current dyson fan it should tell you what type of filters fit with that fan.

QuestionWhere can I find the model #, I ordered a replacement filter by looking at the picture of the Dyson. It came and it was not the right one, I can't find a model # on it or in the booklet that came with it. I have a serial #.

- Answer That confused me, also when I went to order my first filter. I don't think the model # is specified on Dyson's purifiers. This filter is for purifiers, HP01, HP02 and DP01. Those are in the title of the filter. You could always look on Dyson.com at your product's available parts or call or chat w/them. Hope this helps. Maybe you found out by now.

- Answer I would say yes. DP01 is in the title of the filter. I have the HP02 and that's what I went by when I ordered my first filter from Dyson. If not sure, check Dyson.com for available parts for your machine or call or chat w/them. Hope this help, but maybe you already purchased your filter and all went well.

- Answer I would say yes, HP01 is in the title of the filter. I have a HP02 and that's what I went with, it works fine, just looks different than the original filter. You can always check available parts on dyson.com, call or chat w/someone. But, I hope you have the correct filter by now. I'm guessing you have, figured I'd answer you question, anyway, just in case.
