QuestionCan I use the heat function only or fan function only on the dyson without having the air purification on?

- Answer No. Anytime air is going through the machine it will be purifying. You can set the fan speed but you can't disable the filtering.

The filter combines an activated Carbon filter to remove gases and a Glass HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ air purifiers will operate with HEPA filters, which are designed to capture 99.97% of allergens as small as 0.3 microns making this an ideal air purifier for allergy sufferers, pets, dust, smoke, pollen, cooking smells, and mold spores. Dyson air purifiers will also be effective at removing pet dander. However, it's worth noting they will only be effective as it relates to pollutants, and allergens in the air. Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifying heater fans will operate with a 1400W motor, with about 6W - 40 watts being used in the fan setting, and up to 1400W being used in the heater mode. When used in standby, typically in the heat setting, Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifiers will use around 0.5W. I hope this helps! Best wishes, David Dyson Customer Support

- Answer The magnetic fields are no different than with your tv or Bluetooth devices. In other-words you’re spending too much time on something that you’ll never have to deal with.

- Answer It’s based on the size of the particulate that it’s stating it can contain within its filter. You’ll Never notice the difference, neither will the state of CA.

QuestionWill the HP04 remove the musty oder from our house? When we are out for a couple hours and return home our house smells musty and we can't find a cause for it. This is the only reason we are looking for an air purifier.

QuestionI'm having problems find an outlet to plug this into so that it is in a location that I would like. I have a heavy duty extension cord (12 or 14 gauge) and a gfci shock buster I use to plug my car into when I can't get to an outlet. Can I use that.?
