• The only difference between the two is that the TP04 is also a heater.

• Hi Reb, this is Kelly with Dyson. The TP01 is a non-linked machine and cannot link via WiFi to the Dyson Link App. The performance and purification would be the same in both the TP01 and TP04 models. TP04 is a newer machine, and features a LCD display and the connection availability to connect to the Dyson Link App. The App lets you control the machine via the app, but both can be controlled with the included remote control. Both machines are a fan/purifier combo and offer 10 speeds of airflow. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
