Hello Lisa, this is Kelly with Dyson. The TP01 Pure Cool Tower can be turned ON/OFF but pressing the standby button on the front of the machine. Press and hold that button to adjust airflow. Airflow will increase to a maximum, before decreasing. The oscillation and timer functions cannot be used, without the remote control.
