Hello Bella, this is Kelly with Dyson. TP01 and TP04 are both purifying fans. The TP01 is a non-link model, which cannot connect to the Dyson Link App. The TP04 offers more in terms of a wider oscillation range, the ability to use the Dyson Link App for real-time air quality reporting, both indoors and out, and more advanced air purifying. The filtration on the TP04 is also different. On the TP01 you'll have an EVO HEPA filter, while on the TP04 it's a two-piece sealed HEPA and activated Carbon filter. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TP04 is the newer unit - its capable of handling a larger room and has all the technology bits on it that makes it 'smart home' compatible. It links to an app, can be controlled with Alexa etc. That's the primary difference. The TP01 is the Gen1 version.
