Q: QuestionMy dryer makes a high pitched sound on the low setting that is not present on med/high. Is this normal? Will it impact long term longevity of this expensive device? I'm wondering if I should return or exchange it.

• A:Answer Fold a piece of 8.5 x 11 paper in half longwise. The Dyson hairdryer will fit within the 4.2 by 11 inch footprint. The attachments (focus nozzle and diffuser, for example) when magnetically attached make the footprint slightly larger, but within an 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of paper. Hope this helps. Dryer is amazing!

You will know you are purchasing a US model, from the machine's serial number. You'll see -US- in the middle of the machine's serial number. Hair dryers from other countries will also not be compatible to be used here in the US, as they are not dual- or universal-voltage. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
