“What is the sound level: loud, medium, quiet?”

• I just got it for Christmas.....it is MUCH more quiet than any other hair dryer. Sure, you hear the fan...but I can have NORMAL conversations while it is running.

• Dyson says it is quiet but it's a hair dryer. It is not as loud as conventional dryers but do not expect the soft whirrr of their fans. Sound level is absolutely reasonable. To answer your question, I would say medium.

• As hair dryers go, this thing is almost silent! Really, it does make a little noise but you can have conversation while in use. My wife loves hers and uses it while I sleep 15 feet away.
