• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11™ Outsize and Outsize Origin vacuums will both come with a click-in battery, which can be replaced, and allow you to have one battery charging, while another is in use. The V11 Torque Drive and V11 Animal models both have the older, screw-in batteries. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• I believe it has a snap release battery. I saw it but did not attempt to remove it.
