• Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V6 Cordless models will take 3.5 hours to fully charge, once the battery is completely depleted. The run time can vary, depending on if using the vacuum in MAX or regular power mode. Regular power should be sufficient for most household messes, and in that mode, the machine will run up to 20 minutes on a full charge. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• Charge is not long enough to be very useful. Not sure about the charging time because it takes so long that I forget about it and leaved it overnight.

• When mine came in the mail I charged it initially for 4 hours.. Granted I'm sure everyone of them is different. It will run up to 3 1/2 hours with a full charge.
