I have the dyson ball as well, but purchased the v6 animal extra for my daughter, her dog sheds heavily and my son has one and he has 2dogs and a cat that shed a lot. I found the cordless to have better suction, it's light, you can get it in to more places and with the attachments you can get hair anywhere. The only downside is the battery, even with a full charge it only runs about 30min and you have to empty the canister more frequently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi BullyLvr5! We just bought the v6 animal and my mom has the ball animal. It is still just as powerful but lasts about 20 minutes at a time before it needs charged again. So far it has worked great for us. Good luck,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only 1 dog, and hardwoods. It has a very small dust cup and short battery life. For a modest townhouse I empty the dust cup 3x doing just the downstairs, and run out of battery at the end. With 5 dogs and a cat, I'd say you'll be more frustrated than I have been. It has great suction and cleans very well, but that dust cup and battery issue is frustrating. Plus cleaning it out is frustrating, hard to get to certain necessary areas to clean out the dust from within.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it does an amazing job picking up tons more than regular vacuum. It only lasts about twenty minutes or so. If you have a large area to cover, I would suggest staying with regular size vacuum.. Not heavy and maneuvers easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there, its Tameka with Dyson. The V6 cordless is powerful however, it is not as powerful as the Dyson Ball Animal which is our modt powerful upright. We do not recommend using it to replace a full size vacuum. The V6 Animal is designed for quick pick ups and in between regular cleanings. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email us directly at [email protected]. We are happy to help. Best wishes, Tameka Dyson Customer Service
