I have two, one is attached to the wall (yes if you attach to wall you will have to drill holes for screws) and the other one is not hanging, I just plug it in, so it is not necessary to hang the vacuum. Although I am going to hang it up as it is more convenient.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No I just have my unit standing without the charging station attached to the wall. No problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Oleg, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you opt to use the wall dock that comes included with the Dyson V6 Animal, you would need to drill holes in to your wall, to hold the weight of the dock and the machine. You do not, however, have to use the dock. The machine can be charged by simply plugging the charger directly in to the vacuum itself. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would assume so, or just a screw driver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It isn't mandatory but is very convenient to mount your docking station to the wall. If you have a wooden wall you wouldn't necessarily need to drill holes but for drywall or concrete you will need to drill holes and insert the plastic anchors provided.
