QuestionHow do you switch out of Boost mode?I may have accidentally pressed the Boost button while connecting the right sweeping tool. I was not able to switch the Boost mode off. I had to use the vacuum in Boost mode that ran out of battery in 6 minutes and then I have to recharge for 3 and half hours. Is it possible to switch off the Boost mode?

- Answer The $349 is a direct drive motor, the $299 is the older type, it is motorized but not Direct driven. The latter means a more efficient use of battery and more importantly, means (75% according to Dyson™) stronger brushing equaling superior cleaning.

QuestionDoes this vacuum bend all the way back? I am trying to see if I will clean underneath my bed,it's such a small space under there that normal vacuums can't bend back that far.

QuestionDo all the cordless use the same wall charger? I have one I bought a few years ago but stopped working it would be great if I could just use the same charger with the new one.

- Answer On regular mode it will last 20 minutes. On the powerful mode you will only get around 12 minutes.

QuestionCan you switch heads on the vacuums?If I buy the V6 Moorhead that comes with the direct-drive cleaner, can I switch the head to the soft roller for hard wood floors? Can I even buy the other head to switch them out? I understand the V6 Absolute comes with both, but I hate red and it costs more.

- Answer Hi Carl. Thank you for your interest in the V6 Motorhead. The V6 does feature a row of carbon fiber filaments with an anti-static property to help pick up the stubborn dust from bare floors. QuestionHow many recharge cycles is the battery good for?Most lithium ion batteries are good for approximately 1000 recharges, is this the case with the Dyson cordless stick vacuum? With no way to replace the battery pack what happens after 1000 charge cycles? I guess it will become expensive wall art,

- Answer Hi Jjs. It's Vince with Dyson. The Dyson V6 is designed so the battery can be replaced or swapped to extend the run time of the unit. - Answer You can get the tangle free turbine tool and hair will not get tangled...I think it is the only tool that does this. I don't know what Dyson model you have so you have to check compatibility.

- Answer Hello Mari, This is Dan with Dyson. The V6 Motorhead features a screw-fit battery pack that can be removed and replaced when needed. These are available via a Dyson agent over our helpline. However we do not offer a standalone charger for the battery pack when it is removed from the machine. Best wishes, Dan

- Answer I use my Dyson V6 Motorhead for both my car and furniture. Its easy to detach the stick and slip on the main head or you can use the other attachments. Works great. Cordless is so convenient.

- Answer I just bought a Dyson v6 Motörhead. I love it. It is quick and easy to grab for small jobs. It's very lightweight and the head twist so you can get underneath furniture that is about 4 inches off the ground. It picks up small things so it would work great for your job. The canister is small so it needs to be emptied after each job.
