A:Answer I had the similar problem Sonya, contacted Dyson who sent new battery via UPS. Same problem after 3 weeks and this time wouldn't even operate properly and stopped in between. Contacted Dyson again. First they tried to tell me I hadn't even registered my product which was a lie coz I just had gone through the registration process few weeks ago. So I went back on my bestbuy .com account and looked at shopping history, found out I had 15 days left this time on warranty. Finally after 30 minutes on the phone this lady rep. From Dyson admitted I was correct. But she wanted me to send the vacuum again for the same repair knowing that my warranty would expire in 15 days and after that they wouldn't have to worry about it. CHEAP...CHEAP...CHEAP
DYSON .. I raised that question and asked if they can just sent me a working vacuum, but she didn't care and hung up. .... better buy a vacuum that lasts 6 months for $100 than buying Dyson vacuum for $600 that lasts two years total with all these problems. At least you will have something new every year..
