• This happened to me once, and I figured out that the vacuum was clogged. Hopefully, you've figured it out since you posted a month ago!

• Mine gets fairly hot. It should not be an issue though unless it’s causing the vacuum to shut off.

• Hi Linda, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you are using your machine in MAX suction mode for the majority of your cleaning sessions, it would be normal for the machine to run warmer. This mode provides a boost of suction power for more stubborn messes or larger debris, but also causes the motor and battery to run harder to keep up with the suction.
