“Is this safe for wood flooring? Seems what I'm reading is the roller cannot be turned off.”

• I have wood flooring, real oak flooring and it works great and has never scratch it. The roller brushes are soft yet pick up all the dust and dirt great.

• Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The V8 cord-free vacuums do have a floor tool that has a spinning brush bar. If your flooring can accept a brush bar with no issues, you should be fine. You may wish to check with your flooring manufacturer, if there are any concerns over brush bar usage. The brush bar on our cord-free machines cannot be disabled. We do carry, separately, a fluffy soft roller head that can be purchased. This floor tool was engineered specifically for use on bare or hardwood floors. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
