Yes. But if you do not currently have one there's an included PEK module that connects to your system that will provide power to the thermostat. The instructions are easy to understand and it should be simple to install.

Please try again later.Installation is easiest if you have a C wire but the package comes with a power kit that is relatively easy to attach to the main unit that will power the thermostat. I’m not an expert by any means and I was able to install this thermostat in a house that has a C wire and a house that needed the power kit. Both installations took less than an hour.
