The app allows you to control multiple ecobees so I would assume so. Install is easy took less than 20mins for my Hvac(no C wire either) used the included add in C wire harness. Just read the directions. And yes you can set the temp to w.e you want remotely. Locking them like so no one else can change it if thats what you are asking not sure, but you can set it so it alerts you when someone changes it to you phone if that helps. Family always changing it, i just set it back without them knowing at work. Lol For the wifi question, each device has its own mac address and ID to your wifi, so no issues there either. Check you electric supplier for discounts, buying 3 will set you back, comed gives 100 credit per unit, i think it has a cap of 2 per 6month or year though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can. We have two separate HVAC units in our house, as well. We have one Ecobee upstairs (bedrooms) and one on the first floor (living area). Both are on the same wi-fi. I programmed both Ecobee units independently - different sets of temperature ranges and run times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use 3 thermostats on the same WiFi. You can set a password for each unit, and you can control them remotely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t have a setup such as yours, but in my experience in dealing with this thermostat, and many visits from HVAC professionals due to us having an old system, my answer would be yes to all questions. It should be able to handle all 3 units provided you have a multi-zone system setup. We have a dual-zone (1 downstairs & 1 upstairs) and an ecobee installed in each location to “run” each zone. As far as WiFi, that should be no problem as long as you have a strong WiFi signal at all 3 thermostats. The 2.4GHz WiFi band has the most traffic/interference, so keep that in mind. After the units are installed, you can create security settings that can be controlled through the app - provided you have a hub of some sort to allow for control away from the home. We use an Apple TV 4K as our home hub, but there are many alternatives. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a total of 4 thermostats. One I’m CA and three in one home I’m CO. The three in CO are on the same home network. I can adjust the temperature of any of these thermostats remotely.
