• I setup mine using automation features from the home app. From ecobee app don’t have the feature other than the comfort setting to set wether you home and away, that part works with sensor better

• Yes and no. It does not have a built-in sensor, so it cannot do geofencing straight out of the box, per se. However, you should be able to integrate it with Apple Home Kit/Apple TV or integrate it with Smart Things Hub and create an IFTT to utilize any sensors you have for that system. Hope this helps!

• Yes. You can tell the ecobee 3 lite which sensors you want it to use and when. It can also sense which rooms are occupied.
