You can place your sensor in the bedroom as it’s a separate device from the thermostat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the heat from the tv will throw off the thermostat a bit when it is on. As far as motion detection, if the thermostat doesn’t have a line of site to the room, then it won’t be able to see anything other than the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The thermostat will pickup the heat from the TV and won't be able to see your motion from behind the TV, however You can actually get the remote sensors or at least one of them, put it somewhere else in the room and then you can disable the sensor in the thermostat itself and only use the remote sensor for temp and motion. it is very easy to identify which sensors you want to use for each mode or even what times of day you want those sensors to be active. t is very flexible and easy to configure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think if you use the sensor (optional) and place it away from ac vents or heat sources you will be in good shape. IMO
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The model I purchased has one remote sensor that snaps into a clear plexiglass stand to put on a end table or other to resolve issues like that.
