• I had three sensors from the gen 1 and connected them with the new version. It was a little pickier to get them connected.

• Room sensors seem to be the same as in prev gen, you will need to pair those again.

• It will! ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium will work with ecobee SmartSensor and ecobee Room Sensor.
