- Answer Please make sure the power switch is in the "I" position and not the "O" position. If it is in the "O" position the robot will appear to be charging even though it is not.

- Answer DEEBOT 8 automatically cleans at the scheduled cleaning time every day. Press and hold button until disappears from the Remote Control's screen. The scheduled cleaning time is cancelled.

QuestionI have some furniture with wood legs. My last robot vacuum destroyed some of my furniture leaving marks and knicks on the wood. What is the sensitivity and running into furniture factor with this vacuum?

- Answer We haven't had any issues with it running into things. We've had ours for about a month, and it has been very responsive to obstacles, barriers, etc.

QuestionHow do you know when the device is full and needs to be emptied? And does it recognize it is full by weight of it's load or some other way?

- Answer It doesn’t tell you if it’s full. It only takes a few seconds to pull the bin (one release button) and empty. I empty it on the cleaning days when I get home from work and it is really simple.

QuestionHow do you get the unit to stop the 4 beeps all day? I cleaned the unit, removed brush, spinning brushes, front roller wheel, etc and cleaned everything. Still get this loud annoying red light and 4 beeps. No way to silence.

- Answer It does come with a charging base and does return to base when it needs to charge. I usually send it home before it runs out of charge, but last night it ran until it needed to charge and returned to the base.

- Answer Yes, took forever to connect it to our wifi because I couldn't separate the 5g from the 2, and it's a little buggy? But there is an app, and it is worth connecting to it to sync to Google home so I can just ask Google to run the vacuum- or ask Google where the vacuum even is sometimes if it gets stuck.
