No, you do not. The default eero account will use your phone and email address, but does not need to be your Amazon account. There are some features, like Built-In (can use some models of Amazon Echos as a low powered eero extender, currently US and Canada only) and Amazon Easy Setup, that require you to use an Amazon log in, but the rest of eero does not.
