You connect one of these to the modem and the other two are satellite range extenders basically.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you can form a mesh network with these three routers, it does not need a base station. If you already have an existing eero router and it is the 6+ routers, they can be used to extend your existing mesh network. However, if your existing eero router is the older type, I would remove that one and use the 6+ routers only. You can add these to your existing router by Spectrum, but it won't form a mesh network with that router, you will have two separate wifi networks.

The way the eero works is the head/gateway eero will be plugged into your internet/modem/router via an ethernet cable, that gateway eero will then create a wifi network. Other eero can connect to that gateway eero (Wired or wirelessly) and they will broadcast the same wifi network for your devices (or other eero) to connect to.
