A:AnswerAs long as the eero is provided access to the internet via an ethernet connection yes, the eero itself should work. You will want to check with the cruise ship service to see if they will give you ethernet access and if they will have any issue using your own wireless router.
A:Answereero will work with Starlink but you may need to get additional equipment. If you existing starlink router has an open ethernet port, the eero will plug into that. If the existing router does not you will need to get Starlink's ethernet adapter to add that capability. eero will not wirelessly reach that far, you will need to use a point to point wireless bridge or a buried cable to get that far.
A:AnswerAll eero will work with all other model's of eero, so you can mix and match them as you like. I would recommend an eero Pro 6 as your head/gateway eero. That is a triband eero so it can talk to mulitple devices and eero on the 5ghz band simultaneously. The 6+ is a dual band, it can only talk to one 5ghz device/eero at a time. You can use your existing eero as a wireless node if you want. The head/gateway eero is the most important for security of your whole network.
A:AnswerYou would need to get yourself and unmanaged switch. Your topology would be internet/modem/ont->Gateway/head eero->Switch->other devices and hardwired eero (if you have any).
A:AnswerI don't believe you can unless there is a way to have the deco run in bridge mode and the errors run just as nodes. But I wouldn't mix two mesh systems.
A:AnswerYes. I have the main pod in my kitchen area. I also installed one over 200 feet away in a chicken coup so I could run a camera. If you get to far away it will let you know.
A:AnswerThe eero probably would not reach that range. You would need multiple access points to bridge that gap. eero can do this, but they are not designed for outdoor use. One eero would need to be hardwired to the modem/internet and the other eero can wirelessly link to the head/gateway one (either all at once or daisy chaining to the head/gateway eero).
A:AnswerYes - you can plug nearly ANY WiFi system into your Internet Service Provider's gear as long as they give you an internet port to connect to. I'm not aware of any service that doesn't allow you to use your own WiFi gear.
A:AnswerYes, the Eero Pro 6 can work in access point mode if your upstream firewall or modem can be set to pass thru your DHCP IP addresses and other policies. After configuring your firewall, just put the eero in "Bridge mode," and you're all set!
