“Hi- when comparing different eero Mesh WiFi models, the compare tool shows ‘integrated modem’’ in the Pro ($499 at Best Buy). Is this true or do I need to buy a modem? Thanks!”

• If you already buy or rent a modem you do not need a modem but the EERO unit is not a modem so you need a modem, the EERO unit is a router and a mesh system

• We have the EERO PRO WI-FI SYSTEM router and also need a modem for our Mediacom internet service. We intentionally opted out of a combined router/modem to be able to change to a fiber internet option if we choose to in the future at which time we will not need to use a modem and the EERO PRO WI-FI SYSTEM will still work. We are very happy with our EERO PRO WI-FI SYSTEM and use multiple smart TVs for streaming, computers, cell pones at the same time.
