“If I buy the physical version that says xbox one under series x does that mean it will run poorer on my series x then the version that says it's purely for series x? Also if I order it will it be available right away or would I have to wait?”

Any Xbox games are automatically upscaled to the best possible version based on what console you're using. They call this "Smart Delivery" so if you ever see that on a box, that's what they mean.

However, despite what some people believe, Elden Ring is not a "next gen" game. It was developed on Xbox One and PS4 with some performance enhancements to be added later on Series X and PS5.
