• A:Answer If it’s a 220 watt stove top. It can’t plug into the wall at the 110W electrical outlet, it has to be hardwired. And you might have to pay an electrician to run it from your breaker box to the kitchen. Which can cost around 800-1125 depending who you use. Then the installer can connect the stove at the junction box where the electrician ran 220 watt line.

• A:Answer I think it was like 180.00 for the install cause it has to be hard wired. And your probably going to have to pay an electrician to run 220W line into the kitchen. Gas ranges are only 110 w and plugged into a wall outlet. After the electrician work and the stove plus installer fees and warranty depending On the model of the electric glass top you are going to be at least 2,500.00

• A:Answer You must hire a licensed electrician to install a 220 volt plug. The personnel who deliver the range cannot hook up or hard wire the range. They just drop the range and leave. All they are trained to do us PLUG the range in. If there is no plug, they must leave and you need to reschedule your appointment for them to PLUG it in. After purchase, there is no way to alert Best Buy that your old range is hard wired. I would have had the electrician come before the delivery had I known.
