It depends upon the software you are using. The StreamDeck does have the ability to automatically switch to a certain layout based upon the application you are using and is active. I have a particular layout that I used with Photoshop, and with Adobe, and when that app is the active window within Windows, the Stream Deck automatically switches to that layout. You can also use keyboard shortcuts in order to create custom buttons - that is pretty much how I built up all of my Photoshop keys. If the functions you are looking at using have shortcut keys assigned to them - then yes. Very simple and easy to set up, just set the active program in the profile's settings (you can search for it if it doesn't show up in the list), and then under the "System" folder, select "Hotkey" as the button type, set your name or icon, and input the hotkey. That simple and easy. The hardest part is figuring out what the hotkeys are. The ability to use multiple nested folders makes it easy to organize the choices together as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use my stream deck with a software called “companion”. It makes setup so easy. Look up companion and see if they have info on your day trading setup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After using the device, I noticed some plugins for monitoring specific stocks. If you are able to access an API endpoint that can handle trading, then I believe you may be able to trade using it. However, by default, there are no functions integrated to provide that functionality. 3rd party plug-ins are available to assist.

As far as ease of setup goes, can you press the button on the mouse, and hooooollld it down long enough to move iiiiiit a few inches then let it go? Can you type on a keyboard? It doesn't even have to make sense, well I guess for whatever you want the pc to do, it would need to make sense. Yes and yes it would help! It can do simple tasks, and very complicated multiple keystroke tasks while you stream yourself doing the trading with one push of the button. You may even consider night trading its so easy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Antny, As mentioned, the hot keys would vary by which software you use. Stock tickers are readily available for download and use, but hotkeys for day trading depend on your software.
