Settings may be too high, Depending on his computer specs, he may not be able to run the capture card correctly. Requirements are Intel i7-2XXX or better. 8GB ram minimal. Have him lower his capture card settings and retry. Is he trying to Stream and Capture at the same time? Most people have a dedicated streaming PC for streaming content. He should be able to locally record his gameplay without streaming and not have any effect on screen shuttering or lag.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I havent seen lag if watching the monitor, there is a lag when watching the app, I just disable the preview video and it seems to work fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Laptop to Elgato and Elgato to TV, there should be NO lag, but if you are watching it in the screen of the recording software then yes there will always be lag,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lag is normal. It takes time to get use to, and you don't want to play off the recording. Use the pass through connection to play the game. There is almost no lag that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The game capture will always have a slight delay on the capturing device (aka the computer that the files are being saved on), and he shouldnt be using the capture screen for gameplay. Its just there as a tool, he should still use the original source of gameplay to play.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not normal. .he will have to change the setting in his computer to be compatible and get it the way he wants it to stream.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it normal its usually a delay because it is a usb 2.0 device the delay is nothing to worry about, if he is using a mic or a webcam everything will automatically be synced.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is lag if you try playing your game through your elgatos feed to the computer. If you are watching through the hdmi from the elgato that is plugged directly into your TV then there shouldn't be lag.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this device like maybe a week or 2. It happened for me as well. Look up videos on how to solve it. It is a solvable problem. Try taking out the hdmi out and putting it back in. Also play around with the quality (720p/1080p) I have both ps4 and xbox one. My xbox one takes 1080p easily and my ps4 lags if its at 1080p so I had to bring it down to 720p....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My son uses his with his Xbox 360 and said they work perfectly with that, he has the elgato also and said to reboot and reconnect the head phones...if you have not already attempted that
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
