QuestionElgato's website is pretty terrible. No real info and only list one model with no model number listed anywhere. What's different about this one versus the KAA model?

- Answer In terms of functionality it's pretty much identical. They've adopted a slightly different design for the stand which makes the whole thing look a bit more streamlined, added the option to remove and replace the faceplate for increased customization, and modernized the USB interface. I'd say it's more like a refresh of the original aimed at extending the product's lifespan than a wholly new device.

- Answer There is an app in the store you can use. It is called VoiceMod and there are different packs you can purchase within the VoiceMod app that you can download for the stream deck. You can use up to 6 empty slots for free (if I remember right) and then if you want more, you can purchase more slots.

QuestionHow do I use the stream deck has a sound board I have audio clips on it but only I can hear it on my Pc and no one else. I want to mess with my friends with the sounds but can’t figure it out

- Answer the sound clips are saved on the host PC, they will play on the PC only, or in any of the various streaming programs and such. The sounds I have that go through a soundboard, my streamdeck plays various sounds through OBS studios.

- Answer Sorry, my previous answer was wrong. There is a hardware monitor plugin, but I don't know if it monitors the specific things you were looking for. Click on the little keyboard icon next to the setup gear, then click on the "plugins" tab, then search for "hw" and the relevant plugin will pop up.

- Answer I believe it can, i can’t say I have figured out how to. There is a MS Word pre made “profile” on their marketplace. I don’t know its capabilities yet.

QuestionHi! does the steam deck work with MAC for graphic design programs and can it also function with an ipad like for editing & illustrating programs like procreate?

- Answer Definitely works with Mac, but not iPad (at least, not yet--who knows what Apple may do in the future). If you work with Adobe CC or Affinity, you will be able to automate many routine tasks. Check YouTube for videos by creative pros and their experience with Stream Deck.

- Answer You just need a USB-A connector. For some reason, you can't use a hub. It has to connect directly to the computer.
