The big difference is that each button is programable and even by applications with different profiles. Any application or keyboard short cut can be link to key. Mk2 has 15 keys and half the price. I have 2 of these now because I accidently purchase a 2nd one. But I thinking of getting XL because I like it so much.

Except they are typically programmable by default. You would have to get a third party software to assist in doing so. Regardless, you would still need to remember which keys you programmed the macros on, and what combustion of keys as well. This gives you accessibility as well as customizable labeling so you don't have the fuss on which was which. That's only 1 aspect to speak of. In addition, you can chain a number of keyboard strokes to one button. You can program also multiple actions of keystrokes, mice, controllers, as whatever can do, it can do. Think of something like a universal remote control, but wired and is on computers. effectively a computer smart device. Or something like that. And these are only few. To much to name in the comment. Go on Youtube if your interested. And no, this will not feel like at $25.00 product once it's in front of few. The tactile feedback, and the backlit keys themselves is very expensive to make, so there's that!
