Q: QuestionCan this screen be ceiling mounted (ie; Suspended from a ceiling)? Will it raise and lower properly in a suspended mount without twisting or swaying of the screen?

• A:Answer Yes I have this screen hanging in my church. I have a drop paneled ceiling. I put "S" hooks on each end of the screen and attached a chain on each end of the screen; then I attached the chain around the tie beam in the ceiling. I am in a commercial building.

• A:Answer Yes it does. There are no batteries for the screen itself, only for the remote used for raising/lowering remotely. (There is a hard-wired attachment you can use to raise/lower the screen without a remote, too.) The supplied power cord is also pretty short, so make sure to put it somewhere there is power near the ceiling or be ready to use an extension cord.

• A:Answer Yes There are 2 adjusting screws inside the case at the cord end that allow adjustments in 1/2 inch increments The manufacturer no longer posts instructions because too many people screwed it up though They do include a tool for doing it but a 5/32 Allen wrench works too

Q: QuestionIs it possible to extend the power cord professionally and (adding a piece of wire) by removing the plug If there are no outlets near to where the screen is being installed. Once the wire is added then replace the plug.

• A:Answer The screen is not fully sound transparent Some frequencies may be attenuated That being said, I have had no problem with just such a setup I do use Ypao with the screen down (Audessey or any other setup program should work) to set up volumes and optimize crossovers Unless you are a perfectionist I think you will be happy with it.
