• Yes, BUT. It will deplete the battery faster if you use it to reheat coffee.

• No, the heating element is not well designed to heat up cold coffee. It is better designed to keep coffee at a specified temperature when it's poured in hot.

• Yes, though slowly. I'd suggest warming it in the microwave first then putting it in the mug to keep warm. I've put lukewarm coffee from my carafe in here and it will heat it, I just don't suggest trying to heat it from room temp or refrigerated. You'll burn out the heating element doing that.
