“We just got ours and a little confused about something. The air fry light stays on when on baking but I can't figure out how to turn it off when wanting to bake and not air fry. The manual doesn't mention any way to turn off.”

I have this Emerald and was confused as you we. I finally was able to contact Emerald, USA and was told the air fry icon always stays on but it is not actually air frying. If you select “air fry” you will notice the convection fan hits high power and is noticeable sound wise. Sure enough, I selected “air fry” to listen and then selected “roast.” Air Fry was loud and the fan was spinning fast. I selected roast the fan looked like it was at a very slow speed, maybe to keep the temp accurate? Agree there isn’t alot of info about this and suggestions to look at the calmdo on Amazon helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Turn off the light button. The machine is always airfrying. Kinda just convection air really. The light will turn on when the cycle ends. Look at youtube -calmdo airfryer countertop. You can see how to operate it. If you are proofing bread the airfryer symbol will not be displayed.
